I've managed to get to work all through the bad weather so far but today I didn't. Compared to other places in the country the snow isn't too bad, however Orkney doesn't normally get this much snow. I cleared the car and attempted the brae up towards Stromness and my car didn't like it much so I made a tactical retreat. A bit of work at home, the Christmas cake was marzipaned and a few photos of snowy Houton taken.
